JR/SSR Data Scientist

The main objective of the position is to provide actionable insights and data-driven solutions that drive strategic decision-making and process optimization within the organization.

Main responsibilities:

  • Analyze, evaluate, and examine datasets using statistical techniques and advanced analytical tools to identify meaningful patterns, trends, and relationships.
  • Develop predictive models by designing, building, and validating predictive models using machine learning algorithms and AI techniques to forecast future outcomes and support informed decision-making.
  • Implement solutions based on intelligent agents through the use of conversational AI (Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.).
  • Generate insights by extracting relevant and meaningful information from data to provide actionable insights that support decision-making.
  • Communicate results by clearly and concisely presenting findings and recommendations derived from data analysis to different audiences.
  • Research new technologies and stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in the field of data science and artificial intelligence.

Requirements:

  • Advanced student or graduate in fields such as Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Economics, or related disciplines.
  • Experience programming in Python, using standard ML libraries (pandas, numpy, sklearn, etc.).
  • Experience developing and implementing machine learning models in both supervised and unsupervised learning.
  • Experience using data visualization tools (Power BI, Qlik, etc.).

Nice to have:

  • Proficiency in the R language.

  • Experience with image-processing architectures using CNNs.

We are adding profiles with experience and knowledge in Data Engineering and Business Intelligence to join our presales team. The main responsibility will be to thoroughly research market-leading products (according to Gartner) in BI and data engineering, understand their functionalities and competitive advantages, and deliver presentations both to clients and internally. The role will also involve sharing knowledge by providing internal training and supporting the evaluation of solutions for different business scenarios.

Main responsibilities:

  • Research and gain in-depth knowledge of leading BI and data engineering products.
  • Develop technical presentations and demonstrations for clients and internal teams.
  • Provide internal training on the products.
  • Stay up to date with trends in real-time data integration (CDC), data governance, data catalogs, data quality, and BI.
  • Support the presales process with technical expertise and product adoption strategies.

Requirements:

  • Education or experience in data engineering, BI, or related fields.
  • Desired technical skills: SQL, programming languages, cloud systems such as AWS, Azure, or GCP (Google).
  • Knowledge of (or interest in learning) data integration and data management tools.
  • Ability to present technical information in a clear and persuasive manner.
  • Experience in presales or technical consulting (valued but not mandatory).
